Sonja & Gideon blessed me with a ticket to Awaken. What an amazing experience.
Here is a recollection of everything I heard that weekend.
Love they neighbour. The perfect love cast out all fear.
Whoever loves, have been born of God.
We need to grow towards Him, before we can grow towards people.
Love without boundaries or limitations.
He wants us to become fearless for Him.
‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.’ – 1 John 4:18 (KJV)
‘That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.’ – Ephesians 3:17 – 19 (KJV)
‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?’ – Romans 8:35 (KJV)
‘And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.’ – Philippians 1:9-11 (KJV)
‘Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.’ – Hosea 2:14 (KJV)
‘Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jeruslem: loose thyself from the band of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.’ – Isaiah 52:2 (KJV)
Surrender and give up the pain. God wants our full attention. Love those who hate you.
‘Judge not, that ye be not judged.’ – Matthew 7:1 (KJV)
Through pain and suffering the pearl forms inside you. Cast your burdens onto Him. God wants to restore & heal our hearts.
He is the foundation of living water.
We serve a Lover that we can trust with our hearts and lives.
LET God, be God in you. He is coming for the broken hearted, for the foolish, He is coming for you. He is calling you. Open your spirit. Listen to His instructions. Grow in Him. Trust Him. Arise, shine, for the Lord has come.
‘Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore virgins love thee. Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.’ – Song of Solomon 1:2-4 (KJV)
‘Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.’ – James 5:8 (KJV)
Wisdom is full of compassion.
‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,’ – 1 Peter 1:3 (KJV)
He is faithful and true & you can trust in Him. With God all things are possible. From fear to freedom.
What is worship? Worship is the highest form of obedience. Worship is not something you do, it is something you are. Worship is always the appropriate response. The heart of a worshipper is a fearless heart.
When do we become fearless? When we love & receive the love of God.
Our mouths should always be kind & gentle.
‘Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:’ – Proverbs 9:1 (KJV)
The seven pillars: pure, peaceable (*Free from argument or conflict; peaceful) gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy, good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.
‘For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.’ – 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
‘Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.’ – Psalms 86:11
Giving without fear – trust.
Jesus is the same, yesterday, today & tomorrow.
Keep our eyes on the Shepard.
I have come so you can live a life in abundance.
‘And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.’ – Revelation 1:17-18 (KJV)
Who do you think you are? Why do you have to become fearless? Everything that God does is for eternal fruit.
God says: When you ask me, ask BIG.
‘Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.’ – Psalms 2:8 (KJV)
Becoming absolutely dependant on God.
The wisdom that we need cannot come from us, it has to come from God. We need the spirit of God to reveal to us. We only receive if we ask. Show us how to love like You do.
‘But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.’ – 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)
‘For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.’ – Romans 8:18-19 (KJV)
We have to become that generation that push the spirit of God into the world.
Who knows who you are? God says, if you will allow me I will indeed show you who you are.
Broaden your borders.
The less there is of you, the more God can do through you.
All things are possible, I want you to ask by my spirit.
‘And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.’ – 1 Samuel 17:28 (KJV)
‘In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.’ – 2 Chronicles 1:7 (KJV)
Ask what I am to give you.
You can do anything if you know God.
‘But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.’ – 1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)
‘For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.’ – Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)
