On Thursday, 6 September, we had some breakfast, checked out from Le Village Hostel and made our way to Gare du Nord Train Station. We then took the Eurostar. Stopped in London at Kings Cross station and had to run across the road to the St Pancras Station, because our Eurostar train was delayed by 45 minutes! The station in London is really pretty with the Olympics it has been redone. I hope when we go back we will have more time so I can take some photos. Then we took a train from St Pancras to Edinburgh. At Edinburgh we had to get onto another train and travel to Inverness. My brother had to come and pick us up from the station in Inverness and we had about another hours worth of driving to get to his house, which is close to Dornoch.

It was a real long day of travelling, but it was really nice to travel by train and see the pretty lanscape! It is really beautiful in Scotland. In Edinburgh I saw a copy of Deon Meyer Trackers.

Paris to Inverness
